Our Story

Golden Chopstix started with a marinade and a promise: cook Korean food the way it is cooked at home, and cook it for whoever walks in.

Columbus has always been a Korean food town, and it is no accident. Just down the road sits Fort Moore, and for half a century soldiers, families, and Korean spouses building new lives here have needed a place that tastes like the real thing. We became that place. The bulgogi that regulars still ask for by name. The soft tofu that arrives still bubbling in the stone. The tray of banchan we bring without being asked, and refill with a smile.

Fifty years on, we have grown into a larger room so families and big tables have space to gather, but nothing on the plate has changed. The recipes are the same. The welcome is the same. And the question the whole city keeps answering is still the one we put on our own shirts.
